3. Restaurant, Takeaway and Website Information
We aim to keep all information on this website accurate and up to date. However, menu items, prices, descriptions, availability, offers, opening hours and service details may change from time to time.

We reserve the right to update, change or remove website content at any time without notice.
4. Online Ordering Through Third-Party Platforms
Online takeaway ordering may be provided through a third-party ordering system or external platform.
When you click through to place an online order, you may be taken to a third-party website, app, payment page or ordering platform. Any order placed through that platform may also be subject to that platform’s own terms, privacy policy, payment terms, refund rules and delivery or collection process.
Swadish is not responsible for the technical operation, availability, errors, payment processing, account management, or data handling of third-party ordering platforms.
Before placing an order, please check all details carefully, including:
Food items selected.
Quantity.
Collection or delivery details.
Delivery address, where applicable.
Allergy or dietary information.
Total price.
Payment method.
Order time.
Once an order is accepted and preparation has started, it may not be possible to cancel, amend or refund the order because freshly prepared food is usually perishable. UK distance-selling cancellation rules contain exceptions for goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly, which can apply to freshly prepared food.
5. Table Bookings Through Third-Party Platforms
Table bookings may be managed through a third-party booking system or external reservation platform.
When you use the booking link on our website, you may be redirected to an external booking provider. Your booking may be subject to that provider’s own terms, privacy policy and confirmation process.
Please check your booking details carefully before submitting, including:
Date.
Time.
Number of guests.
Contact details.
Any special requests.
Any cancellation or deposit requirements, if applicable.
A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from us or the booking provider. We will do our best to honour all confirmed bookings, but delays may occur during busy periods.
6. Walk-Ins and Restaurant Service
We welcome dine-in customers at Swadish Indian Restaurant & Takeaway in Brighouse, subject to table availability.
During busy periods, waiting times may vary. We reserve the right to refuse service where necessary, including where a customer behaves abusively, disruptively, unlawfully, or in a way that affects the safety or comfort of staff and other customers.
7. Takeaway Collection and Delivery
Takeaway orders may be available for collection and, where offered, delivery.
Estimated collection and delivery times are provided as guidance only. Times may vary due to order volume, traffic, weather, staff availability, kitchen demand, third-party delivery issues, or circumstances outside our control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details, delivery addresses and order instructions. We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or incorrect deliveries caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.
8. Prices and Payment
Prices may be displayed on our website, menu, third-party ordering platform, printed menu, or in-store.
We aim to keep prices accurate, but prices may change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of ordering will normally apply.
Payments made online may be processed by a third-party payment provider or ordering platform. Swadish does not control third-party payment processing systems and is not responsible for payment platform errors, failed transactions, processing delays, or account issues caused by third-party providers.
9. Offers, Promotions and Discounts
From time to time, Swadish may offer special offers, seasonal promotions, dine-in offers, takeaway discounts, early bird offers, or limited-time deals.
All offers are subject to availability and may be changed, withdrawn or refused at any time.
Unless clearly stated otherwise:
Offers cannot be used with any other discount.
Offers have no cash value.
Offers may apply only on selected days or times.
Offers may apply only to dine-in, collection or takeaway.
Offers may exclude certain dishes, drinks, set menus or third-party platform orders.
We reserve the right to correct errors in promotional wording, pricing or availability.
10. Food Allergies, Intolerances and Dietary Requirements
Food allergies and intolerances must be taken seriously.
If you or anyone in your party has a food allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement, please tell us before ordering. This applies whether you are dining in, ordering by phone, ordering online, collecting takeaway food, or using a third-party ordering platform.
Food businesses in the UK must provide information about the 14 regulated allergens used as ingredients. The Food Standards Agency also advises that takeaway allergen information should be available before purchase and again when food is delivered.
Although we take care when preparing food, our kitchen handles a range of ingredients and allergens. We cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces of allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination.
Customers with serious allergies should contact us directly before placing an order.
11. Menu Descriptions and Ingredients
Our menu descriptions are provided to help customers choose dishes. However, ingredients, recipes and preparation methods may change from time to time.
Some dishes may contain bones, shell, seeds, whole spices, dairy, nuts, gluten, mustard, eggs, fish, shellfish or other allergens.
Spice levels are provided as a general guide only. Individual taste and tolerance may vary.
12. Customer Responsibilities
When using our website, booking a table, placing an order, or visiting our restaurant, you agree to:
Provide accurate information.
Check your order before submitting it.
Tell us about allergies or dietary requirements before ordering.
Arrive on time for table bookings.
Collect takeaway orders at the agreed time.
Treat staff and other customers respectfully.
Use our website and services lawfully.
You are responsible for making sure any food ordered is suitable for you and anyone you are ordering for.
13. Cancellations, Amendments and Refunds
Takeaway Orders
If you need to cancel or change a takeaway order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Once food preparation has started, we may be unable to cancel, amend or refund the order because food is freshly prepared and perishable.
Refunds, where approved, may depend on how the order was placed and paid for. If the order was placed through a third-party platform, the refund process may need to be handled through that platform.
Table Bookings
If you cannot attend your booking, please cancel or amend it as early as possible.
Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may affect future bookings.
If a booking requires a deposit, pre-payment or cancellation fee, this will be explained at the time of booking or through the third-party booking provider.
14. Complaints and Problems With Orders
If there is a problem with your food, order, booking or experience, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to help.
You can contact us using:
Phone: 01484 442 399
Email: info@swadishbrighouse.co.uk
For takeaway orders, please keep the food, packaging, receipt, order number and any relevant photos until the issue has been reviewed.
We may not be able to resolve complaints where food has been fully consumed, disposed of, or reported long after collection or delivery.
15. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may include links to third-party websites, online ordering systems, booking platforms, maps, social media pages, payment providers or delivery services.
These third-party websites and services are not controlled by Swadish. We are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, payment systems or terms.
You should read the relevant third-party terms and privacy policies before using those services.

We may use customer feedback for service improvement and marketing where appropriate, but we will not publish personal details without permission.
Reviews posted on third-party platforms, such as Google, social media or ordering platforms, are also subject to the terms of those platforms.
19. Privacy and Personal Data
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If you contact us, make a booking, place an order, or use a third-party ordering or booking platform, personal information may be collected and processed. This may include severe weather, traffic disruption, power failure, internet outages, supplier issues, staff shortages, third-party platform failures, public health issues, accidents, emergencies or other unexpected events.
23. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
